Positive Comments:

  • The creative and clever presentation of the alphabet with wordplay, puns, and jokes is hysterical.
  • Younger children can understand these slapstick jokes.
  • Since each letter has a personality, readers can follow that character throughout the story.
  • The little hint of bathroom humor will delight children.

Observations

  • Children have to learn to play with language.

Concerns:

  • The busy pages can be distracting.
